The Ethiopian government has encouraged every citizen to plant at least 40 seedlings to fight deforestation.

“Trees not only help mitigate climate change by absorbing the carbon dioxide in the air, but they also have huge benefits in combating desertification and land degradation, particularly in arid countries. They also provide food, shelter, fuel, fodder, medicine, materials and protection of the water supply.”

“Klassens tid”: l’ora di lezione dedicata allo sviluppo delle relazioni positive in classe

Si parla da qualche tempo dell’ora di empatia obbigatoria nelle scuole danesi. Questa iniziativa, chiamata Klassens tid ovvero ora della classe, è prevista dal curriculo nazionale dal 1991 e mira a migliorare le relazioni all’interno della classe a fornire agli studenti (fin dalla più tenera età) gli strumenti relazionali che permettono di esprimere le proprie emozioni, comprendere l’altro, sentirsi accolti a scuola.
